We replaced an over 26 years old Ideal Elan 2 boiler with an award winning Worcester Bosch Greenstar heat only 18 Ri boiler with a 6 year manufacturer warranty.
As usual we power flushed the heating system and cleaned header tank thoroughly. Added sentinel x100 inhibitor and upgraded programmer and room thermostat to digital.
We were unable to terminate the condense pipe work internal but put a large diameter (40mm) pipe work from boiler to outside gulley. This way we minimise it from freezing during cold weather.
